Henry joined Radio Tyneside whilst attending the Royal Grammar School, before leaving to take a degree in sport at Leeds University.

After leaving Uni he worked at The Pulse in Bradford as the breakfast news reader, then moved to the new Bauer radio hub in Leeds. After being moved by Bauer to Newcastle, where he reads news bulletins for a number of stations, Henry re-joined Radio Tyneside.

Henry is a big Newcastle United supporter.
