Gold and Silver wins for Radio Tyneside
The 2024 National Hospital Radio Awards winners were announced at an award ceremony in Winchester on Saturday 13 April. Radio Tyneside entered four awards and we’re so proud to have won:
- Silver for the hotly contested Station of the Year
- Gold for our Great North Run trailer
Our popular Geordie Hour show, entered in the Best Specialist Music category, and presenter Jack Evans, in the Male Presenter category, were both highly commended.
This is a station at the top of its game. Warm, inclusive, every element of the entry showcased special moments and how the team expertly serve their listeners with the broadest range of content.
